Knowing the prophecy, Kronos’ wife Rhea went to great lengths to hide baby Zeus, who was so well-hidden by his Mother Rhea that Kronos never found him, and the latter was eventually overthrown by his son just as the oracle had predicted.īut in the midst of his heated and persistent search for his son Zeus, Kronos was taken off course (yet another reference to Chiron’s orbit outside our galaxy) by his desirous pursuit of the nymph Philyra.
